Our clients had recently moved to the area and built a new home. After one spring and summer dealing with pollen and dust, they decided to enclose their back porch. We presented several options and they chose a glass enclosure. We framed the room under their existing roof and installed energy efficient windows, a full view door, glass transoms and tempered glass panels below the windows. The interior trim was done to match the existing trim in the home. The floor was finished with luxury vinyl tile to complete the room. And the porch looks as though it was always meant to be part of the house; it is perfect inside and outside! My porch is clean and quiet, and I get to watch the tumbleweeds of pollen roll down the golf course without a bit of it coming into the porch.
