Built in 1979 out of railroad ties for the structural component on one of the most picturesque pieces of land on the island, this home needed some significant updating. These homeowners wanted to preserve the rustic feel of the home through this process, yet give it a modern feel as well. We rebuilt the framing using timbers and railroad ties, kept a lot of the natural wood. Updated and expanded the decks, refinished the entire interior. All new bathrooms, new flooring and custom cabinetry work.
